Finishing up

Here it is 1:00am and I think I am finally ready for the LLL conference tomorrow! I am polishing up my "talk" and then going to bed. I was up until 3am last night (or was it this morning!) and I am SO tired! Two of my sisters and 3 nieces and nephews are already here! We had a fun night of lasagna, crafting and the best wine!

I am giving a talk on the Party of Your Life. I am going to talk about how to throw a great party and to have fun doing it! I LOVE parties and I LOVE throwing them! I especially like birthday parties. But I also really enjoy planning Blessingways, Red Parties (first menarche), and Baby Showers. I would someday like to start a Party planning business. I am someone though that talks and talks about it but NEVER does it! My dear friend Stacey over at Stacey Rainer Photography is encouraging me to do this and has even offered to help me set some goals to get this rolling! She is a talented photographer and so business savvy!

I finally finished my water bottle cozy's today!!! My fingers are sore from all of the stitching. I put labels on them tonight and they are ready to go! Yeah! I think they are so cute and I already sold one of them - my favorite no-less!
Oh and guess what we are calling them? WATER WOOLY's Like Water Bottle Cozy only cuter because they are made out of upcycled (don't you love that word?) WOOL! And for those of you that don't know my dear hubby's nickname when I met him was WOOL and if you knew me when... I had WOOLY2 license plates for a LONG time. And everyone would ask me what the WOOLY stood for? I got tired of answering it. So, it is a tribute to those dear wooly lambs but also my dear wooly hubby! He really is wooly!

I also finished up my Scrabble Tile Charms this morning. I had to put the last of the bails on the backs so they could set all day and overnight. E6000 glue ROCKS!
I must say I have always loved the look of the Scrabble Tile Charms but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to make them look as cute as the ones I have seen on Etsy. Well, I think mine are SO cute! I took photos of them and will post them when my camera batteries are charged. I also did a photo tutorial so I will post that as well. They are super fun to make!

Well, I best get to finishing my talk and then get to bed as we have a VERY long and busy day tomorrow! Wish us lots of good selling luck for this weekend!
